    JSCE is launching Journal of JSCE, English edition to introduce information on emerging technologies and innovative ideas in Japan globally: The first edition features 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake.

  • ACECC 6th CECAR Tsunami Session and JSCE 100th Anniversary Celebration Booth

    JSCE hosted Tsunami Session and Asian Board Meeting on natural disaster mitigation and opened JSCE 100th Anniversary booth at ACECC 6th Civil Engineering Conference in the Asian Region (CECAR) in Jakarta in August 2013.

  • “16th International Summer Symposium” and “International Workshop for Young Engineers”

    “16th International Summer Symposium” and “International Workshop for Young Engineers” will be held during 2014 JSCE Annual Meeting at Osaka University in September. The objectives of these meetings are to provide young civil engineers with the opportunity to discuss their research projects and to build cooperative relationships with their peers. Participants will expand their knowledge and network with each other globally.

  • International Forum “Contributions of Infrastructure to Life of Affluence”

    The International Forum will focus on future civil engineering contributions to achieving an affluent society, reviewing the experiences, achievements and innovations that civil engineers have made in the past century.

    International collaboration, which is one of the leading forces in infrastructure development, will be considered, too.

  • International Conference on Social Infrastructure (Road) Maintenance and Management

    The objective of the International Conference is to contribute to the sustainability and resilience of infrastructure. The conference will discuss future infrastructure maintenance and management reviewing current infrastructure management and trends in the world.

  • International Network System for information exchange and communication among international students

    The objective of International Network System is to promote cooperation and communication among international students by sharing the information of JSCE’s international activities.

  • Japan-Korea-Taiwan Joint Seminar on International Competitiveness in the Global Market

    Japan-Korea-Taiwan Join Seminar is realized with the cooperation of three societies CICHE, KSCE and JSCE. CICHE joins the biannual meeting co-hosted by KSCE and JSCE. The trilateral seminar will become a unique East Asia civil engineering platform.

  • Archives of International Cooperation and Contribution on Building Infrastructure

    The objectives are to collect and introduce historical records on Japanese civil engineers’achievements, and contributions to infrastructure development through the projects financed by Official Development Assistance (ODA) loans around the world. The Archive will develop to the database of Japanese civil engineers’accomplishments and technology advancements.
