The International Symposium, which is one of the 100^th Anniversary Commemorative Ceremony events, consists of two meetings, namely: International Forum on “Contribution of Infrastructure to Life Affluence” and 3^rd Roundtable Meeting on Disaster Management.

The International Forum will focus on the future contributions of civil engineering in achieving an affluent society and reviewing the experiences, achievements, and innovations that civil engineers have made in the past century. Also, international collaboration, which is one of the leading forces in infrastructure development, will be discussed. Distinguished civil engineering professionals will join and share their profound knowledge, unique views and ideas on social infrastructure, and their contribution to affluent society from various viewpoints such as economic activity, disaster risk management, environmental protection, cross-border and cross-disciplinary collaborations.

The 3^rd Roundtable Meeting will focus on practical disaster countermeasures. Participants will examine the best practices for disaster risk reduction and post-disaster relief and recovery and build their international collaborations.
